Create an engineering report

CalcTree lets you turn your calculation pages into professional engineering reports in just a few steps.

1. Prepare your page Add your calculations, explanatory text, images, and tables as you would in a technical document. Make sure results and units are visible where needed.

1. Preview your report Click on the Download icon from the top toolbar to see how your report will appear when exported.

1. Enable 'Background graphics' Click the checkbox 'Background graphics' in your print settings. This ensures all colors, diagrams, and visual elements are included.

Browser Support Printing is officially supported only in the latest versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Other browsers (including Safari and Firefox) may not render the layout correctly.

1. Download or print your report Download as a PDF or print a physical copy of your report.

Formatting tips

To ensure your output appears as intended, follow these guidelines:

• Enable “Background graphics” (see step 4)

• Adjust your page layout from the page settings panel on the right of the platform. This changes the width of the page area to better suit your print layout

• Align tables and images within the visible page area to ensure they appear correctly in the printout

• Use the Portrait width setting for A4 portrait output

• Use a wider width setting for A4 landscape layouts (e.g. for wide tables or diagrams)
